Russia records five ceasefire violations in Syria over past 24 hours

The Russian side in the Russian-Turkish commission on the Syrian reconciliation has recorded five violations of the ceasefire regime over past 24 hour, while the Turkish side has informed about four truce breaches, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The Russian party of the Russia-Turkey Commission on violations of the Joint Agreement has registered five cases of firing in the provinces of Damascus (4) and Daraa (1). The Turkish party has registered four cases of firing in five provinces of Aleppo (1), and Damascus (3).

According to the statement, sporadic fire incidents were mostly registered in the areas controlled by Jabhat Fatah al Sham and the Islamic State terrorist groups.
