Newspaper: Russia to appoint new Armenia ambassador soon

Russia will appoint a new ambassador to Armenia in the near future, Zhoghovurd newspaper writes on Wednesday.

March 25 will mark five years in office by ambassador Ivan Volynkin, and usually the ambassadors are appointed for a three or a five years term, the newspaper writes.

“Thus, we will have a new ambassador in four months. However, it is not known whose candidacy Russia will offer,” the daily says.
