Small business in Armenia

Small businesses play a crucial role in the Armenian economy, accounting for over 90% of all businesses in the country. These businesses provide job opportunities for local communities and contribute to the growth and development of the Armenian economy.
Small businesses in Armenia operate in a range of sectors, including retail, services, manufacturing, and agriculture. Many small businesses have been established in response to the economic challenges faced by Armenia, including high unemployment rates and limited job opportunities.

Despite these challenges, small businesses in Armenia have demonstrated resilience and innovation. Many small business owners have leveraged digital technologies and e-commerce platforms to reach new markets and expand their customer base. Others have developed innovative business models that prioritize sustainability, social responsibility, and community engagement.
The Armenian government has implemented a range of policies and initiatives to support small businesses in the country, including tax breaks, financial support, and streamlined administrative procedures. Many non-governmental organizations and community groups have also been established to provide training, mentorship, and other forms of support to small business owners.
Overall, small businesses in Armenia are an important engine of economic growth and job creation. By supporting small businesses, we can help to create more job opportunities for local communities and contribute to the growth and development of the Armenian economy.
