“The only path to our nation's survival and progress is through education” — Ruben Lusinyants, Vice President of the ARPA Institute

Recently, Anush Zohrabyan’s “Hazaran Blbul” series featured Ruben Lusinyants, Vice President of the ARPA Institute (Analysis Research & Planning for Armenia).Ruben Lusinyants is also the Managing Director and Global Head of Alternative Investments Technology at Morgan Stanley. In addition, he is the Founding Director of the PIERIS Fund—a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering economic and social development for those most in need by supporting scientific research, promoting accessible education, and investing in sustainable, technology-driven businesses.

“Recently, through our program, we created an opportunity for students to engage in electronic circuit design using advanced and widely used technological tools. Currently, 47 students are working on designing electronic circuits, commonly known as "chips", which are highly significant for Armenia. This initiative could attract leading technology companies, such as Nvidia, to consider Armenia as a destination for talent and innovation.”
“I firmly believe that the only path to our nation's survival and progress is through education and the continuous development of our educational system. I initially wanted to start my own foundation because I couldn’t find an existing one that aligned with my values and goals. Eventually, I discovered the Arpa Foundation and realized that we shared a common vision. This led to a partnership aimed at creating high-quality programs and working together to achieve our shared objectives.”
“The future we envision for Armenia is one that is free, proud, and sovereign. With a history that spans thousands of years, it is our responsibility to preserve that legacy by investing in education and science—foundations that uphold our sovereignty and national identity.”

Established by a group of dedicated Armenian scientists and experts, the ARPA Institute has continually advanced education and scientific research, promoting technological and economic growth and contributing significantly to developing a science-based economy in Armenia. ARPA has been working closely with Armenia’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (ESCS), as well as the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory also known as the Physics Institute, Yerevan State University, and national Polytechnic University of Armenia.
