Armeconombank at the DEG Green Days Conference
Armeconombank participated in the Green Days conference held in Istanbul, organized for partner financial institutions by DEG – Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH, a member of the KfW Group.
Armeconombank was represented at the event held on April 29–30 this year by Levon Movsisyan, Head of International Operations Department, Sargis Tsaturyan, Head of Fundraising and Trade Finance Division, and Anna Yeghoyan, Head of Environmental and Social Risk Management Division.
The two days of intensive presentations and discussions focused on the growing role of financial institutions in promoting sustainable finance, green investments, and a low-carbon economy. The event served as an important platform for professional dialogue among financial sector representatives from Turkey, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
"Armeconombank is grateful to our strategic partner, DEG, for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in the conference. It was a valuable platform not only for enhancing our professional knowledge regarding the latest solutions and trends in sustainable finance, but also for exchanging experience with regional partners and establishing new connections. We believe that this format of regional cooperation would be continuous, and that Armeconombank will maintain an active role within this framework," - noted Levon Movsisyan.
In collaboration with prestigious international financial institutions, Armeconombank continues to take steps toward implementing and developing green financing as an institutional framework within the Bank.
