Armenia to host joint military exercises with the USA
Armenian-American military exercises aimed at peacekeeper preparation will take place in Armenia from July 15 to 24, as announced by the Armenian Ministry of Defense's press service on Saturday."As part of preparations for international peacekeeping missions, the Armenian-American joint exercises Eagle Partner 2024 will be held in Armenia from July 15 to 24. Military personnel from the Armenian Armed Forces, U.S. Army's European and African commands, and the Kansas National Guard will participate," the ministry's press release stated. The exercises are intended to involve operations aimed at stabilizing relations between conflicting parties during peacekeeping tasks. "The goal of the exercises is to enhance unit cohesion among those participating in international peacekeeping missions under peacekeeping operations, exchange advanced experience in management and tactical communication, and increase combat readiness of Armenian units," the Ministry of Defense declared.The ministry added that as part of preparation for peacekeeping missions, units preparing for international peacekeeping operations regularly participate in similar joint military exercises and trainings in partner countries.Published on 08 / July / 2024 : 14-20
